Hi, Im Helen.
& I’ve been supporting families to de-mystify the funeral planning process, choices and preparations for years…
‘I’ve seen firsthand what happens when families are left guessing about what to do for their loved one when their time comes. You didn’t talk to them about it, you didn’t want to upset them. They didn’t know how to and likewise, they didn’t want to upset you. It meant that no one had an open and honest conversation about death and dying and what happens next.
As a professional funeral celebrant with years of experience (trained in 2012) I’ve stood beside grieving families as they scramble to make the “right” decisions – often unsure if they’re truly honouring their loved one’s wishes. The stress, the second-guessing, the sheer overwhelm – it’s something no family should have to go through,
A stroke is sudden, and we had to be utterly ‘re-active’ and not proactive. It taught us a valuable lesson.
Later, another member of the family then got other news. Cancer. This time, we knew we had time, albeit a little, but I knew what to do and how to do it, and I’m helping navigate my family members through it.
Hi, Im Helen.
As a professional funeral celebrant with years of experience (trained in 2012) I’ve stood beside grieving families as they scramble to make the “right” decisions – often unsure if they’re truly honouring their loved one’s wishes. The stress, the second-guessing, the sheer overwhelm – it’s something no family should have to go through.
But what if I hadn’t had that support? What if I had to do it alone? How would I have helped my Mum? How would I have later supported my Dad?
A stroke is sudden, and we had to be utterly ‘re-active’ and not proactive. It taught us a valuable lesson.
Later, another member of the family then got other news. Cancer. This time, we knew we had time, albeit a little, but I knew what to do and how to do it, and I’m helping navigate my family members through it.
That’s why I’m on a mission to help others who, one day, will find themselves in a similar situation…
– whether it’s preparing “just in case” or facing difficult news head-on.
You don’t have to figure this out alone.
And you don’t have to leave your family to struggle with the unknown.
Remember, I understand, and have experienced how horrible dealing with, seeing, and having the feeling that ‘death’ is around the corner can be. How you approach that is in your hands. I will share with you, both personally and professionally, how to open the conversation.
I know first-hand how overwhelming it can feel to prepare for something we don’t want to even think about, let alone talk about or plan for.
That’s why I’ve dedicated my work to making this process as simple, supportive, and empowering as possible.
By watching this video, you’re taking a small but powerful step towards securing peace of mind for yourself and your family.
